Home of the World Famous Sockeye Salmon Run

The North Shuswap is a year round vacation paradise that stretches from the Adams River to Seymour Arm which encompasses the hamlets of Lee Creek, Scotch Creek, Celista, Magna Bay, Anglemont and St Ives on the beautiful Shuswap Lake.  A drive along the scenic route from Roderick Haig Brown Provincial Park to the Seymour Arm will allow you to sample many of our attractions and amenities.
Accommodations range from Rustic cabins, Suites, Bed & Breakfast, Country Inns, private RV/camping parks and a Provincial Campground. Enjoy our many eating establishments from take-out, to pub-like settings to fine dining.  Spend a day visiting the museum, then onto the many artisan studios and our local gift  shops for unique souvenirs.  From watersports, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, river rafting, horseback riding, golfing and snowmobiling to more leisurely activities as mini golf, bowling, bumper boats and go-carts the North Shuswap has it all.  This is the “HOME OF THE WORLD FAMOUS SOCKEYE SALMON RUN” Join us this October 2006 for one of the largest runs of the sockeye salmons four year cycle.
